Our bodies thrive in an alkaline state, and we’ve heard that a helping of fruits and veggies helps them get there.
But there’s something MUCH bigger you can do:
The most alkalising thing for the body, BY FAR, is a good, long, healing breath.
And whilst we’re rushing through life, our breath gets shallow and quick. No healing (or alkalising) can take place whilst we’re in fight or flight mode.
So instead of driving yourself crazy trying to pound a mound of greens at every meal in the name of being ‘alkaline’ (I’ve been there!), turn your attention to your breath a couple of times throughout the day and take in some of that live-giving oxygen.
